OCL Iron and Steel Limited was incorporated on February 20, 2006, as public limited company with the Registrar of Companies, Orissa under the provisions of the companies Act, 1956 and obtained Certificate for Commencement of Business on March 20, 2006 from the Registrar of Companies, Orissa. OISL was a wholly owned subsidiary of OCL and as a result of the reorganization by way of demerger, the Steel Undertaking of OCL together with all its assets and liabilities
stands transferred to and vested in OISL.
Pursuant to Scheme of Arrangement the
Company issued and allotted 133643160
fully paid-up equity shares of Rs.1/- each
on March 31, 2008 to the
shareholders of
OCL India Limited on 3:1 ratio. |
